Hard-boiled eggs in tomato sauce


  • 4 eggs
  • 400 g of tomato pulp
  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • half onion
  • salt and pepper
  • a basil leaf
  • Origan
  • chili powder (optional)


Wash the eggs and make them hard-boiled: in a saucepan, boil the water (not salted); when it comes to a boil, lower the heat and gently place the cold eggs from the refrigerator with a spoon, making sure that no cracks form; count 12 minutes for the firm yolk.
