Barley salad with chickpeas | Pourfemme

The barley and chickpea salad recipe is simple but tasty. The combination of cereals, in this case, pearl barley, with legumes is perfect. The procedure to follow will be very fast, especially if you use pre-treated chickpeas, and the ingredients are few: barley, chickpeas, and a Tropea onion. This unique dish is perfect for a summer lunch: healthy, fresh, and vegan!


  • 280g of pearl barley
  • 320g of boiled chickpeas
  • 1 Tropea onion
  • to the taste extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • parsley to taste
